1. Does the ResMed AirMini have a built-in battery or a traditional water humidifier?

 No, the  ResMed AirMini does not have a built-in battery and must be plugged into a power source to operate. It also lacks a traditional water humidifier tank, instead using disposable HumidX™ or HumidX™ Plus cartridges for waterless humidification.

2. Can I use my existing CPAP mask with the AirMini?

 The ResMed AirMini  is only compatible with specific ResMed masks that use a specialized connector and tubing system. Compatible masks include the AirFit N20, AirFit P10, AirFit F20, AirTouch F20, and AirFit N30 for AirMini series.

3. How do I control the settings and track my sleep data on the AirMini?

 The device does not have a screen; all settings, including comfort features like Ramp and Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR), are adjusted via the AirMini by ResMed app on your smartphone or tablet, connecting via Bluetooth. The app also provides access to your sleep data and reports.

4. How often do I need to clean the device and replace accessories?

 The mask cushion and tubing should be cleaned weekly with warm, soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. The disposable HumidX disc needs to be replaced every 30 days after opening, and the air filter should be checked regularly and replaced every 1–3 months, or when visibly dirty or damaged.

5. Is the ResMed AirMini noisy during operation?

The ResMed AirMini operates at approximately 25 dBA, which is slightly louder than some full-sized home CPAP machines but is still considered quiet. Most users find the sound level acceptable for a peaceful night’s sleep.
